FIELD: radio electronics engineering.
SUBSTANCE: according to method of orientating articles of different shapes when transporting them, transfer elements are damped by means of surface having capillary properties due to bringing them into contact for transporting liquid from capillary surface to damped surface of transfer element. Liquid is delivered along capillary surface from internal part of cone-shaped volume to external one continuously. Rotation of damped capillary surface is put into synchronization with rotation of set of transfer elements which are disposed along cone-shaped surface. Contact of damped surface of transfer element and of damped capillary surface is carried out without sliding one surface relatively the other one followed by subsequent removal of excess moisture from damped surface of transfer element. Transfer element damping unit in the device for transporting transfer elements is made in form of truncated cone volume filled with liquid. Transfer elements are also disposed along con surface. Permanently damped surface is disposed as onto external surface of cone volume for contact with damped surface of transfer element and onto internal surface for receiving liquid.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation.
