FIELD: heat power engineering, in particular, combustion of any solid fuel, applicable in public services, thermal power stations for drying of any materials and combustion of solid domestic garbage.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is aimed at provision of a uniform burning of fuel and complete combustion of it due to a stable burning and free motion of flows of pyrolysis gas to the central boiler of fuel afterburning. The device for combustion of solid fuel has a loading chamber with a heat-resistant bottom in the form of truncated surfaces of revolution with through holes linked with the air supply ducts, central duct-chamber, the holes have overhangs - protrusions in the form of a series of sections of conical spirals forming massive ducts for free motion of pyrolysis gases to the duct - chamber on the shortest way and formation of a twisted flow of gases at the inlet to its cavity. Each projection of the series of sections of conical spirals covers one hole of each stage by its length for maximum coverage of them from stopping up by particles of fuel and coals.
EFFECT: provided a stable supply of air-oxidant to the above-grate bar cavity, stable burning and a complete combustion of solid fuel.
