FIELD: torsion bars for helicopter rotor bars.
SUBSTANCE: proposed torsion bar is made from central stack of blades and two peripheral stacks of blades; plates of peripheral stacks of blades are mounted in working zone at flexure relative to plates of central stack. Amount of flexure of peripheral stack plates ranges form 2 to 5% of plate thickness. At least one solid plate may be additionally mounted in zone of plane of symmetry of torsion bar. Proposed construction increases service life of plate-type torsion bar due to changes taking into account loaded state of torsion bar plates of different thickness.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; increased service life of torsion bar.
