FIELD: changing the physical structure of non-ferrous metals or alloys.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises producing a blank made of aluminum alloy composed of, in mass %, 0,5-1.8 silicon, 0.5-1.5 magnesium, 1.2 copper, aluminum, and unavoidable admixture remainder, heating the blank, hot rolling for diminishing the thickness of the blank at least by 30%, thermal treatment at 1010°F or higher, repeatable hot rolling, heat treatment at a temperature of 1010°F or higher, and hardening.
EFFECT: improved alloy.
