FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises heating feedstock, mixing it with liquid phase of coking products obtained in the bottom part of rectification column, heating resulting mixture and coking it in reactor. Gas-vapor coking products from the top of reactor are directed to cyclone separator, separated vapor phase from the top part of which enters concentration section of rectification column. Separated liquid phase from the bottom of cyclone separator, together with coke fines contained therein, enters one of the two alternately operated settlers. Settled liquid phase from settler enters through level control device bottom part of rectification column, wherein it is mixed with starting feedstock. As settler is filled with coke fines, it is cut off and coke fines, after steaming and cooling, are discharged through bottom aperture. Prior to cutting off filled settler, preliminarily prepared second settler is linked up to operation system. Pressure control device on the vapor phase discharge line from cyclone separator into column allows specified pressure levels in cyclone separator and coking reactor to be maintained irrespective of pressure in rectification column.
EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency.
