FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly adapted to divert young fish from water-intake structures built in fishery water body.
SUBSTANCE: fish protective structure comprises fish-diverting tray with fish trapping windows and boom. The structure also comprises bottom dam extending at 30° angle to flow axis. The dam is made as partition wall having 45-90° attack angle. The structure also comprises fish elevation means provided with bucket mating bottom dam so that bucket-dam interface curve has radius R=k·180°·Lk/π·α. Here k=2-0.5 - coefficient depending on bucket length-width ratio, α is inclination angle of fish elevation means. The structure has flow training lug installed in front of young bottom fish accumulation area and extending at 25° angle to approach water flow to improve hydraulic effect. Boom is installed between fish diverting tray and fish elevation means. The boom is made as flow spreading hump and provided with flange and fish trapping windows defined by guiding vertical walls. The fish trapping windows are adapted for young fish arresting and provides constant velocity in fish-diverting tray.
EFFECT: increased fish protection efficiency.
