FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrotechnical construction, namely to fish protective devices and structures, which are installed as part of water intake structures for protection of young fish. Fish-protection structure includes a fish-trough tray, a fish-climbing springboard with pipes for supply of compressed air into it, installed at a lifting angle of 20–30° between the bottom stream-splitting fish trap parapet with sidewalls and an ingot in the form of a fish-catching tray, having a horizontal flange, a vertical blind back wall and a vertical front wall with fish pans formed by a fishes-sized fir-shaped blades with a rounding angle of 12–13°, which are installed at angle of 45° to the axis of the flange flange, located between the fish-removal tray and the fish-lifting jib. According to the invention, the fish protection device has a curved bottom threshold with a height equal to 3/4 of the water flow depth, on which a fish head is mounted with rounded side walls, connected to a fish-lifting springboard made in the form of a truncated cone and interconnected by a smaller bottom with a tinder, which is equipped with additional fish-outgoing trays symmetrically located relative to flow axis. Fish-outlets are installed to each other in horizontal plane at angle of 75–90° and equipped with fish-receiving chambers located in front of fish-removal chutes.
EFFECT: invention provides improved safety of juvenile fish.
