FIELD: weight-measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for measurement of rolling weight during transportation along conveyer. Total weight of the whole structure and of rolling disposed onto structure is measured. During stoppage of rolling onto structure the output signal is fixed which signal is proportional to total weight. Then rolling is removed and weight of empty structure is measured. Weight of rolling is determined by finding difference between total weight and weight of empty structure. Minimal and maximal values of weight of empty structure are preset. Minimal and maximal weight of weight of rolling is preset. Maximal value of change in weight of empty structure is preset between two measurements. Current weight of empty structure is compared at any weighing with preset values. Current value of rolling is compared with preset values and current value of change in weight of empty structure with preset maximal value. In case the value goes out of the preset limits, the corresponding diagnostic and warning signals are generated.

EFFECT: improved precision of measurement; improved reliability of operation.
