FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: as a billet enters along a rolling table to the first section, its strain sensors are loaded, the converter measures the signal and displays it in a software and hardware complex. In process of further movement the billet enters the second section, at the same time its strain sensors are loaded, and their signal is measured by the converter and displayed in the software and hardware complex. Further the billet starts sliding off the section. The software and hardware complex records equality of weight and generates a signal for weighing a billet in motion or for stopping of the rolling table for weighing in static condition. The result of weighing is determined by the software and hardware complex as a sum of weighing of both sections.
EFFECT: possibility of weighing in dynamic and static conditions of billets of any length, with provision of high rate of weighing.
