FIELD: electromechanical engineering; cooling electrical machine rotors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotor has rectangular-section magnetic circuit without cooling ports mounted on machine shaft with aid of drum-type intermediate facility in the form of two ring-shaped strip flanges with holes disposed near inner surface of magnetic circuit to provide communication with bushing flanges. Rotor is provided with heat-transfer apparatus in the form of set of thin-walled heat-transfer tubes made of heat-conducting material, their ends being tightly fixed in holes of opposing flanges; rotor inner space incorporating mentioned tubes is filled with heat-conducting liquid. Inner surface of magnetic circuit contacting cooling liquid is ribbed to enlarge heat-transfer surface area.
EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture, enhanced thermal efficiency of proposed device.
