FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: stator of a frameless electrical machine with liquid cooling contains a laminated core with a winding, pressure flanges located on the core end faces, and fastening (tightening) axially oriented elements attached to pressure flanges and containing internal liquid cooling channels. Combination of functions of stator fastening and cooling elements is provided due to their manufacture in the form of tubes through which cooling liquid is pumped. Heat-conducting fastening elements can be made of steel, aluminium alloy, or a high resistance alloy, for example nickel-chromium, and are attached to the pressure flanges by welding, adhesive, interference fitting, flaring, caulking and (or) threaded connection. Fastening elements are arranged in grooves of outer surface of stator core or in its holes so that thermal contact is provided with it. Fixation of tubes to pressure flanges can be performed so that electrical insulation is provided. Air cooling ribs can be made on external surface of core.
EFFECT: simultaneous simplification of stator design and reduction of losses in it.
