FIELD: electromechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electrical machine stator has magnetic circuit in the form of monolithic rectangular-section toroidal wound ferromagnetic core and circular hold-down frame members disposed on both ends of core, as well as device jointing hold-down members and annular cooling chamber around stator filled with liquid cooled down in external heat-transfer apparatus. Hold-down members of frame are tightly joined with core and provided with cylindrical shell whose inner diameter is larger than outer diameter of core. Shell is tightly joined with mentioned hold-down members over their perimeter to form rectangular-section toroidal cooling chamber. Magnetic circuit can be made in the form of axially glued laminated stack of electric sheet steel or of amorphous ferromagnetic material. Proposed cooling system affords circulating liquid cooling of magnetic-circuit developed surface to best possible efficiency.
EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced reliability of proposed cooling system.
