FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing woman in childbirth on obstetric chair table in optimal anthropological position and performing actions controlling labors. The table is rocked relative to horizontal plane in conformance with labors of woman in childbirth by an angle of 0° to 90° when inclining forward, and from 0° to 30° when inclining backward with sacrum of woman in childbirth being above the table rocking motion axis. The device has obstetric chair provided with frame, cushion for placing head and leg sections having movable connected femoral and crural parts and foot rest members. Table for placing woman in childbirth is mounted on the frame. Axle kinematically connected to drive is rigidly fixed on lower table surface. The table allows rocking relative to horizontal plane in conformance with labors of woman in childbirth.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of childbirth assistance and its facilitation.
