FIELD: technologies for magnetic saturation of loadstone iron ores, primarily methods for producing high quality loadstone concentrates from final concentrate, produced by wet magnetic separation of thin-embedded loadstone ferriferous quartzites.
SUBSTANCE: method includes milling concentrate on spherical mills, operating in closed cycle with hydro-cyclotrons, removal of slurry, magnetic separation of mill product and slurry sands. From drain of hydro-cyclotrons on magnetic surfaces or grates as upper product rough-grained joints are selected, which are delivered to feed magnetic separation of mill product. Lower product from magnetized surfaces and grates is delivered for removal of slurry. Slurry is removed in ascending stream with utilization of magnetic systems, strength gradient of which is directed in parallel to gravity force and together with slurries large non-ore particles are taken, sent to waste.
EFFECT: decreased iron content in wastes during saturation of final concentrate of wet magnetic separation.
