FIELD: metallurgy; pouring of molten metal.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of repairing of refractory plate includes coating of cracks with solution. Plate has outline which can be inscribed into elongated rectangle. Plate is furnished with pouring hole located eccentrically between parallel sides of rectangle. At least one section of plates edges is arranged at angle to provide optimum concentration of clamping force in rate control area and around pouring hole.
EFFECT: prevention of forming and developing of cracks in said areas of plate.
