FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in processing lines for preparing of feeds.
SUBSTANCE: mixer-grinder has casing incorporating screw and two-beam knife mounted on screw hub. Mixing blades are mounted on screw hub for rotation relative to radial plane depending on physical and mechanical properties of material to be mixed and ground. Mixture is circulating around blade to thereby facilitate mixing thereof. Power consumed for rotation of screw with blades during operation of apparatus is calculated from formula: 
Guiding ribs are formed on casing internal side, axially of screw. Ribs are provided only in the part of apparatus where feed is compacted and ground. Discharge throat with shutter is provided for employment only when mixing is performed.
EFFECT: improved quality of preparing of feeds.
