FIELD: insulation of pipelines and electrical cables; production of the insulation means for coating of the pipelines and electrical cables metallic surfaces.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of production of the insulation means for coating of the metallic surfaces, predominantly, of the metallic pipelines and the electrical cables shells, in particular, to production of the heat-shrinking multi-layer adhesive band and may be used for protection of the main pipelines and electric cables from mechanical damages, soil corrosion and atmospheric corrosion. The indicated band consists of the radiationally modernized polymeric basis made out of a polyolefin and the adhesive layer containing the copolymer of ethylene-vinyl-acetate, the milled mica, the low molecular polyisobutylene and P-acetonanyl. The produced heat-shrinking multi-layer adhesive band ensures the increased adhesion to steel, polyethylene and the irradiated polyethylene.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased adhesion of the heat-shrinking multi-layer adhesive band to steel, polyethylene and the irradiated polyethylene.
