FIELD: mechanical engineering; impulsive infinitely variable transmissions.
SUBSTANCE: proposed clutch includes inner holder and outer holder with spring-loaded wedging mechanisms smoothly distributed between these holders; each wedging mechanism is provided with lever, sector, spring for slidable engagement with it; sector is articulated with lever. Inner holder is made in form of disk with hub and outer holder is made in form of two parts rigidly interconnected together. Lever is made in form of two similar parts mounted on different sides relative to disk of inner holder. One end of lever is articulated with sector engageable with outer surface of inner holder disk and other end of lever is articulated with outer holder. Articulated joint of lever with sector may be provided with barrel-shaped axle.
EFFECT: increased frequency of loading the clutch; enhanced durability and loading capacity.
