FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger comprises housing with branch pipes for supplying steam and discharging condensate, distributing water chamber with baffle and branch pipes for supplying and discharging water to be heated, and piping system with the built-in cooler of condensate provided with vertical side and horizontal baffles. The sides of the condensate cooler are provided with openings made between the pipe bank and first deflecting horizontal baffle and between the last and penultimate horizontal baffles. The openings are interconnected through the pressure-tight ducts arranged outside of the condensate cooler. The second horizontal baffle of the condensate cooler is connected with the housing above the branch pipe for discharging condensate.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
