FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: surface heater comprises housing with branch pipes for supplying steam and discharging its condensate, top distributing water chamber with baffle and branch pipes for supplying and discharging water to be heated, bottom rotatable water chamber, and casing that receives the piping system with top and bottom pipe banks and horizontal baffles. The horizontal baffles of the pipe bank are made of two sections arranges at different levels. The box with open top section is mounted above the bottom section and receives vertical deflecting sheet that forms a hydraulic valve together with the sides of the box. The deflecting vertical baffle is mounted throughout the length of the piping system and defines the through passage together with the vertical deflecting sheet.
