FIELD: radar engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in cell communication systems to improve precision and reliability of finding of location of mobile station. Average value and multi-ray error dispersion of measurement of pseudo-distances is used to determine location of the station. Pseudo-distance measurement error database is used for the purpose, namely for evaluation of location of mobile station. Statistic data on character of multi-ray errors of measurement of pseudo-distances is used which data was received from previous tests. Database helps to estimate parameters of multi-beam errors of measurement of pseudo-distances depending on type of landscape, elevation of satellite ands/n ratio for satellite's received signal.

EFFECT: improved precision of finding location of the station; improved reliability.
