SUBSTANCE: initial location estimate is found first and measurements are taken for a terminal. The initial location estimate is then corrected using the measurements in order to obtain a correct location estimate for the terminal. Correction is carried out by deriving a measurement vector based on the initial location estimate and measurements, forming an observation matrix for measurements, determining a weighting matrix, deriving a correction vector based on the measurement vector, the observation matrix and weighting matrix and correcting the initial location estimate using the correction vector.
EFFECT: high accuracy of estimating location of a wireless terminal.
