FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming preretinal space blood discharge path into vitreous body by perforating posterior boundary membrane of the vitreous body at point being the lowest hemorrhage zone projection of the whole hemorrhage area. YAG laser of wavelength equal to 1.064 nm and radiation power of 1.4-3.2 mJ is applied. Pulses number is equal to 2-6. The treatment is carried out to the time of visually observable blood evacuation from the preretinal space into vitreous body.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; simplified accelerated treatment method.
