FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating posterior vitreous block developed after extracapsular cataract extraction followed by implantation of posterochamber intraocular lens. It is necessary to create outflow ways for intraocular liquid from posterovitreous space into anterior chamber by using a laser. Iris coloboma is formed, posterior capsule and vitreum are dissected with laser ray through coloboma until intraocular liquid flow could be seen in coloboma lumen.
