FIELD: manufacture of articles of different metals and alloys in ceramic casting molds.
SUBSTANCE: casting mold 10 includes vertical down gate 12 and large number of casting mold cavities 16 arranged in different levels along length of central down gate 12. Cavities 16 are connected with gate 12 through side gates 14. Melt metal passes into casting cavities 16 through central down gate 12. At rotation of casting mold centrifugal forces are created; said forces act upon melt metal in side gates. Melt metal is drained from central down gate till it finally crystallizes in cavities 16 and in side gates 14. The last remain at least partially filled with melt metal. At shrinkage of metal in cavities 16, metal remained in side gates 14 flows to casting cavities and compensates shrinkage.
EFFECT: uniform in time filling of all cavities of mold along height of central pouring gate and uniform distribution of pressure in different casting cavities.
