FIELD: automotive industry; wheels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of drop-forged automobile wheels. Proposed wheel has drop-forged rim and disk interconnected by welding. Disk has central support zone with row of holes for connecting bolts and intermediate and outer zones. Intermediate zone has stiffening ribs and shaped vent hole with faces on outer side along edge of holes. Outer zone encloses intermediate zone, being essentially flange adjoining the rim. Sizes of faces are close to thickness of initial metal of disks. Uniform rectangular section belts are located on inner side of disk over edge of vent holes. Width of belts is close to thickness of disk metal and their volume is equal to volume of metal shifted at forming of face.
EFFECT: increase carrying capacity of wheel, simplified manufacturing technology, reduced cost of manufacture of wheel as a whole.
