FIELD: chemical technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing fluorine atom-containing sulfonylfluoride compound. Method involves interaction of compound of the following formula (1a): XSO₂R^A-CH₂OH with compound of the following formula (2a): R^B-COY to form compound of the formula (3a): XSO₂R^A-CH₂OCO-R^B followed by interaction of compound of the formula (3a) with fluorine in liquid phase to form compound of the following formula (4a): FSO₂R^AF-CF₂OCO-R^BF and the following decomposition of compound of the formula (4a) in the presence of a nucleophilic agent to form compound of the following formula (5a): FSO₂R^AF-COF. Synthesized compounds can be used as materials for making ion-exchange membranes. Method provides preparing compound of the formula (4a) without structural limitations and in combination with low cost of the process.
