FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a desired perfluorinated product with a high yield in a fluorination reaction of a partially fluorinated ether. Method for producing a fluorinated compound comprises step (I) of reacting compound (1), represented by the following formula (1), and compound (2), represented by the following formula (2), to obtain compound (3), represented by the following formula (3) (in which fluorine content is at least 30 % by weight), and step (II) of fluorinating compound (3) in liquid phase, obtaining compound (4) represented by the following formula (4), where RA: divalent saturated hydrocarbon radical or partially halogenated divalent saturated hydrocarbon radical, RB, RC and RD: RB represents the same fluorinated monovalent organic group as RBF, monovalent organic group, which is converted into RBF by a fluorination reaction, a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; RC represents the same fluorinated monovalent organic group as RCF, or a monovalent organic group, which is converted into RCF by a fluoridation reaction; and RD represents the same fluorinated monovalent organic group as RDF, or a monovalent organic group, which is converted into RDF by a fluorination reaction, X1: halogen atom, RAF: a group in which all the hydrogen atoms in RA are substituted with fluorine atoms, RBF: when RB represents a hydrogen atom, RBF represents a fluorine atom; when RB represents a halogen atom, RBF represents the same halogen atom as RB; and when RB is neither a hydrogen atom nor a halogen atom, RBF represents a fluorinated monovalent organic group which is the same or different from RB, and when it is different, RBF is a group which is RB fluorinated, RCF: fluorinated monovalent organic group which is the same or different from RC, and when it is different, RCF is a group, which is RC fluorinated, and RDF: fluorinated monovalent organic group which is the same or different from RD, and when it is different, RDF is a group which is RD fluorinated. Invention also relates to a method for producing a fluorinated polymer, which comprises obtaining compound (8) using a method defined in claim 10, and polymerising compound (8); and a method for producing a fluorinated polymer, which comprises obtaining compound (11) using a method defined in claim 12, and polymerising compound (11).
