METHOD FOR PREDICTING ISCHEMIC CARDIAC DISEASE (ICD) WITH THE HELP OF HOLTER'S ELECTROCARDIOGRAM MONITORING Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B5/00

SUBSTANCE: one should carry out Holter's electrocardiogram monitoring along with provocative impacts at the background of excluded intake of anti-ischemic and anti-anginal preparations, analysis of patient's feelings, cardiac rhythm, the level and the form of ST segment in electrocardiogram to detect the signs of myocardial ischemia. It is necessary to perform point-type evaluation of patient's feelings, alterations of ST segment in electrocardiogram during each provocative impact and during the first 5 min after it. Moreover, the above-mentioned parameters should be evaluated in the rage of 0-2 points. One should calculate for every provocative impact complex evaluation of myocardial ischemia signs (CEMIS) by the following formula CEMIS = PEPF+PECRA+PESTA, where PEPF - point evaluation of patient's feelings, PECRA - points evaluation of cardiac rhythm alterations, PESTA - point evaluation ST segment alterations in electrocardiogram. According to maximal CEMIS value it is possible to conclude upon possible presence of ischemic cardiac disease.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of ICD diagnostics.
