FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out two loading tests under electrocardiogram control. One of the tests is administered on no medicament background and the other one after taking nitroglycerin. Patient feeling evaluation, evaluation of electrocardiogram changes and differences in two loading test results is carried out by means of points assigned from a special purpose table. Tension stenocardia diagnosis is considered to be certain when sum of points is ≥4, of high probability when sum of points is equal to 3, of low probability when sum of points is equal to 2, impossible when sum of points is equal to or less than 1. EFFECT: significant enhancement of diagnosis accuracy; excluded mistakes in adopting or rejecting tension stenocardia diagnosis in majority of patients. 4 tbl
