FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves closing sclera injury zone with knitted polyester ophthalmic fabric of cellular structure having density of 100 g/m2 with polymer coating on copolyamide of E-caprolactam and hexamethylene diammonium adipinate. The fabric contains drugs stimulating recovery and manifesting antimicrobial properties. The material is fixed on surrounding healthy sclera.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; tightly sealed defect; accelerated recovery of injured eye tunic tissues; prevented infectious complications.
