FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of seats, particularly, to devices for vibration isolation of operators' seats of self-propelled farm machinery. Proposed driver's seat of self-propelled machine has base, skeleton with cushion and backrest interconnected by scissor-like guide arranged and shock-absorbing device hinge-coupled by bracket with skeleton. Shock-absorbing device contains swinging suspension. Elastic member is made up of two series-connected elastic and elastically damping members. Swinging suspension is made in form of threaded stud connected by one end with support lever for fastening object to be vibration isolated and by other end, with thrust washer and nut coupled with bushing connected with elastic member. Thrust washer engaging with nut and bushing is made of elastic material. Elastically damping member is made in form of wire rope braid or wire maze. Distance "b" between axes of hinge joints of guide arrangement and distance "d" between axes of hinge joint in bracket of seat skeleton and axis of switching suspension of shock-absorbing device can be in optimum ratio : b/d=2.5-3.5.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of vibration isolation in horizontal direction, simplified design and improved operating properties.
