FIELD: rock cutting tools, particularly flushing units thereof.

SUBSTANCE: flushing unit comprises nozzle and sealing member fastened to drilling bit body by means of retaining split spring ring installed in annular bore made in inner socket wall surface. The retaining split spring ring is provided with safety extensions made on ring periphery. Annular bore for retaining ring receiving has depression made in peripheral part thereof. Safety extensions of retaining split spring ring are made as collet members arranged in annular bore depression in working position. Depression of annular groove may be displaced upwards or downwards in vertical plane with regard to support surface of retaining ring.

EFFECT: improved hydrodynamics of the flushing unit.
