FIELD: forestry, wood working and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preliminary heating of wood by hot air at atmospheric pressure and subsequent reduction of medium pressure to 50-60 kPa after heating. Then drying is carried out at stationary reduced pressure at constant convection of hot air until moisture content of material is reduced to 25%. Then gradual pressure rise in chamber is done to law laid in claim of invention.
EFFECT: reduced time taken for drying without affecting quality of wood.
