FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has electromotor, reservoir, thermostat unit mounted in the reservoir and having thermoelement, occluder having jaw models having dentition composed of natural earlier removed teeth fixed in self-hardening plastic, small elastic lever usable for transmitting pressure produced by maxilla to be applied to mandible and disk connected to the small lever by means of flared rod rigidly attached to it. The disk is connected to the electromotor for simulating movements in temporomandibular articulation. The rotatable small lever is connected to the disk. The occluder is in reservoir filled with solution having pH appropriate for oral cavity.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in testing effectiveness new materials, devices and methods for treating carious teeth.
