FIELD: agricultural engineering; dried pea harvesting.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes harvesting of pea harvester at regulation of operating parameters of pea shelling and cleaning devices and after-harvest treatment of pea at base. Pea with reduced seed cover in zone of seed lobe closing is harvested. When cleaning pea from admixtures, minimum speed of fan for said harvester is set. After-harvest treatment at base includes separation of split pea with simultaneous drying to moisture contact content in split pea not exceeding 14%.
EFFECT: reduced losses of pea yield, time taken and expenses at processing of pea yield.
