FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method for harvesting a guar culture includes the steps where, when getting brown, 50-70% of the beans are treated with a continuous preparation based on the active substance dibromide 7-10 days before harvesting; then the guar with a sign of non-shattering grain is harvested by a drum, which includes a number of stalk lifters located parallel to the direction of movement of the harvester and rotating in opposite directions; whereas the stalk is mowed simultaneously with threshing of the mowed mass by a combine harvester; the fraction of whole cotyledons of split grain is separated on sieves with oblong through holes 5 mm wide; then the guar is sent to the station, where the guar is cleaned of impurities in grain cleaning machines with a set of sieves; then the guar is dried in dryers, sorted by colour on an optical separator, and then stored for storage.

EFFECT: guar is lifted above the cutter when the plants are cut, with simultaneous reduction of grain losses and reduction of labour intensity of harvesting with further storage of guar.
