FIELD: medicine, oncology.
SUBSTANCE: therapy consists of two stages: in the course of the first stage patients undergo radiation and/or polychemotherapy. The second stage deals with local thermotherapy at 55-60° depending upon patient's pain sensitivity. During 90 min and in 15-20 min it is necessary to carry out intracavitary gamma-therapy at fractionation of single dosage of 12 Gy on the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th d of therapy course up to total focal dosage of 60 Gy. The innovation suggested enables to optimize radiation therapy of locally metastasing uterine cervix cancer.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
