FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: course of combined radiotherapy is conducted: distant gamma-therapy in a standard dose fractionation regimen of 2 Gy, 5 fractions per week, with the total boost dose of 46 Gy and intracavitary radiotherapy with the energy of 1.25 MeV in a large dose fractionation regimen of 5 Gy, 2 fractions per week, with the total boost dose of 50 Gy. Cisplatin is introduced at a dose of 40 mg/m2, once a week, up to the total dose of at least 220 mg. At that, 2 hours before the intracavitary radiation therapy session, local hyperthermia is performed at a temperature of 42-43°C for 40-60 minutes, 10 sessions.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in immediate efficacy due to an increase in the proportion of complete responses to treatment, due to a faster regression of the primary focus, improving the quality of life of patients due to a faster arrest of pain and bleeding from the tumour.
