FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly radiation diagnostics and therapy, and can be applied in combined radiation treatment of uterus neck cancer. Measurements are taken 1, 3, 6 months before and after treatment end. Ultrasonic uterus neck examination is performed in B-mode to define uterus neck tumour size, volume and echo structure and uterus neck contours. Vascularisation degree of uterus neck tumour is registered in power Doppler and colour Doppler mapping mode. Systolic and diastolic flow rates, resistivity index and pulsation index of blood flow are defined in duplex and triplex scanning mode. At definite indicator values positive, negative or zero result of treatment is registered.
EFFECT: development of quantitative criteria for ultrasonic assessment of combined radiation treatment of uterus neck cancer.
