FIELD: processes and equipment for working cylindrical surfaces.
SUBSTANCE: device includes body, cutter holder mounted on body with possibility of reciprocation motion along guides, follower in the form of eccentric supporting bearing assembly; clamping attachment for mounting blank; tool mounted in cutter holder by inclination angle relative to axis of follower and probe also mounted in cutter holder. Flat working surface of probe is normal relative to guides and it engages with outer surface of bearing assembly of follower. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities device is provided with reduction gear whose output shaft is joined with follower and whose inlet shaft is joined with clamping attachment mounted in follower with possibility of rotation. Gear ratio of reduction gear is 1/n where n - quantity of sine protrusions.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of device.
