FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for filling axle boxes of motor axial bearings of rolling stock with oil. Proposed device includes oil fill pipe 1 with float level transmitter 3 with permanent magnet engaging with magnetically-controlled contact 5 arranged at preset level and connected with oil feed member. Said oil fill pipe is connected by one end with oil feed member and by other end, through drain hole, with filling chamber 13 of axle box 10. float and magnetically controlled contact are located in cavity made in oil fill pipe communicating with working chamber of axle box. Calibrated holes is made in lower part of said cavity. Calibrated hole is arranged coaxially with float and it provides communication of cavity and oil fill pipe.
EFFECT: provision of reliable checking of oil level.
