SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the railways and can be used for oil servicing of two-chamber box of locomotive's motor-axial bearings. Oil servicing method for two-chamber box of motor-axial bearings includes oil injection into the service chamber through the oil duct encompassed by air-conducting tube with the metering hole. Metering hole is made below the target level for the acceptable oil level excess value over the target. Oil level monitoring is carried out under the readouts of the oil level metre interrelated with other metering hole. The second metering hole is made in the upper end of the air-conducting tube located outside the box body. Prior the servicing the oil level in the box chambers is controlled. Device for the oil servicing of two-chamber box of motor- axial bearing includes the tube installed in the tank divided for servicing and operating chambers by the wall with the hole. It also includes air-conducting tube the upper end of which is located in the servicing chamber, and the other one is connected with the operating chamber through the metering hole. Oil filling tube is also included. Air gap between oil filling and air-conducting tubes is connected with the lubrication level metre by the other metering hole.

EFFECT: invention provides the control over oil level in the box prior the servicing and carrying out the flaw inspection on the basis of the received data guarantees the servicing of both chambers to the target level.
