FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wind power plant comprises wind turbine and shaft connected with the rotor of the electric generator. The shaft could be an extension of the turbine shaft together with the generator shaft. The shaft of the turbine bears on two casings of the bearings mounted on the base and arranged at the top of the tower. The shaft of the generator is made in block with the flexible shaft of the turbine or secured to it. The stator and rotor bear on the shaft of the generator causing the generator to follow bending motion of the turbine shaft. The stator is locked against rotation by means of a nonrotating coupling that virtually transmits no bending moment or axial load counter to the bending of the turbine shaft under the action of the bending moment that acts on the turbine shaft from the side of its hub. The bearings are made for permitting bending the shaft of the turbine.
EFFECT: prolonged service life.
