SUBSTANCE: method involves detecting fungi of Candida genus on solid Saburo medium with yolk added. Cultured colonies diameters, clarified zone width around them are measured by means of computer-aided morphometry, virulence coefficient Kv is calculated from suggested formula. Kv ≥ 0.3, vaginal candidacies is to be diagnosed.
EFFECT: high accuracy and specificity of the method.
