METHOD FOR RAPID DIAGNOSIS OF VAGINAL BIOCENOSIS DISORDERS BY METHOD OF TOPOGRAPHIC pH-METRY Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2651037 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used to diagnose abnormalities in the vaginal biocenosis. To do this vaginal pH is measured by an endoscopic pH probe using a digital pH meter at six clock points on the clock 12:00, 13:30, 16:30, 18:00, 19:30, 22:30, which conditionally denote pH-1 pH-2 pH-3 pH-4 pH-5 pH-6. Measurements are carried out in sequence pH-1-pH-2-pH-6-pH-3-pH-5-pH-4 and create a “spatial map of the vaginal pH”, for which they transfer to paper along the dial the points pH-1 pH-2 pH-3 pH-4 pH-5 pH-6, which are arranged along the six axes according to the values of the measured pH, are connected with each other by straight lines. Individual “spatial map of the vaginal pH” obtained is superimposed on the “spatial map of the vaginal normometocosis” result obtained by connecting analogous six points arranged along six axes with the values pH-1 3.95; pH-2 4.05; pH-3 4.2; pH-4 4.35; pH-5 4.22; pH-6 4.04. With an increase in the total area of the individual map or its displacement, at least one of the axes relative to the “spatial map of vaginal normometricity” is diagnosed as a violation of the biocenosis, the direction of displacement of the pH map identifies the localization of the affected area.

EFFECT: method allows to increase accuracy of the study while reducing its duration.
