SUBSTANCE: substance of the diagnostic technique for nonspecific vulvovaginitis in girls involves bacterioscopic examination of a vaginal secretion, cytological examination of touch smears of the vaginal secretion prepared by tight pressing of a slide to exposed urethra and vulval vestibule, leukocytes, eosinophil, segmented neutrophil counts. If leukocyte count is more than 8%, eosinophil count is more than 5% nonspecific vulvovaginitis with an allergic component is diagnosed. If leukocyte count is more than 40%, nonspecific vulvovaginitis of viral aetiology is diagnosed. If segmented neutrophil count is more than 60 %, nonspecific vulvovaginitis of bacterial aetiology is diagnosed.

EFFECT: use of the technique enables higher information value and diagnostic accuracy of nonspecific vulvovaginitis in girls, reducing time of examination with reducing injures, and also it may be recommended for screening diagnostics.
