FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device has cage, main electrodes connected with registrar by means of electrodes disposed in vertical, reference electrode, and aids for fixing electric wires onto body of rat or mouse, and post. Post is fixed between blades of rat or mouse and electric wires of main electrodes are attached to the post for dismounting. Electrodes are fixed at ends of electric wires. According to first version of device, electrodes are made in form of arc-shaped bent springing rods. Aids for fixing electrodes are made in form of metal pins. Metal tube is mounted onto one branch of any pin for disconnection of electrode. According to the second version of the device, main electrodes are made in form of arc-shaped bent springing rods. Slot is made in cage's wall. Metal bushing is mounted in slot for free rotation about axis. Bushing acts as lash and serves for to be fixed at rat's tail and for connection of reference electrode.
EFFECT: reduction of negative effect of technical aids onto functional state of animals under test.
