FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting pharyngeal inflammatory diseases. One should apply a passive electrode sublingually along the middle line. As for an active electrode - it should be applied alternately onto the surface of the right and left palatine tonsils and at the value of active resistance being above 150 Ohm at the frequency of 100 kHz and 850 Ohm at the frequency of 1 kHz one should diagnose a compensated form of chronic tonsillitis. At the values of active resistance being above 165 Ohm and 910 Ohm, correspondingly one should diagnose a decompensated form of chronic tonsillitis. The innovation enables to investigate functional state of tonsillar tissue.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
