FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used for diagnosing chronic pharyngeal diseases, such as compensated and decompensated forms of chronic tonsillitis, and chronic pharyngitis. For this purpose, spectral curves are recorded using fluorescence spectrometry from upper pole surface, lower pole, lacunae of palatine tonsils, as well as from posterior pharyngeal wall. That is followed by calculating absolute fluorescence intensity, spectral half-width, normalized fluorescence with respect to the intact point. Thereafter, the obtained values are compared with spectral indices in healthy volunteers. Based on the obtained data, the patient is diagnosed with a compensated or decompensated form of chronic tonsillitis or chronic pharyngitis.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and sensitivity of non-invasive diagnosis of chronic pharyngeal diseases in a patient.
